My name is Stephanie (Steffi), my husband is called Simon and we have three
children, Lisa, Corey & Kieran.
We live in the north of germany in a town called Bergen which is 60km from Hannover.
Cats have been a large part of our lives for a long time and our lives now
without any cats is hard to imagine.
This is why we try to make it as comfortable and friendly
for the cats as possible.
Inside and outside the cats have plenty of places where they
can climb, sleep or cuddle.
We have converted our spare bedroom into a room for our cats
that can be used by them for a bit of piece and quiet, it is also used
as a maternity room for when the females cats have baby's.
Our cellar is also a favorite place where our cats like to go
and chill out, so we have put in place plenty of things where
they can scratch, sleep and climb.
Approximately three to four weeks after the
birth of the baby's
we move the mother and baby's to the living room into a
specially built pen. By doing this the baby's get used
to the everyday noise of a large family and can interact safely with
the rest of the family.
We have also built an enclosure in our garden that the cats love to
use, pictures of the enclosure can be seen under info's.
We found out about the British
Shorthair Breed from a good friend. These cats cannot be
compared to normal house cats, it is not just that they look fantastic
(color,Fur), it's also
there great character, easy going, calm, loving and
great with children.
Then we had an idea that maybe we could become breeders.
First we had to decide which colors (from the many) we wanted to breed. After a lot of discussions and reading of books we decided we would breed Colourpoint.
It is very important to us that
our cats are healthy, type full & socialized.
